Clocky: For oversleepers

This has to be my first post for various reasons. This is a perfect use of technology to overcome a practical and amongst the most common problem we face. There's an Indian name behind this product.
A few days back I was watching "Beyond Tomorrow" on Discovery channel and found out about some cool stuff and this awesome gadget was featured in that. The Clocky is designed by Gauri Nanda, a lifelong oversleeper who was routinely late for morning classes as a graduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab, waking up would take some ingenuity.

Clocky™ began as one of Nanda's class projects, but a flood of media attention made the clock a star. Gauri has since started Nanda Nanda, a company devoted to making all sorts of products, including technologies that are fun to use and a better fit for human beings.


It annoys you terribly because when it alarms and you press the snooze button, it rolls off the table, wheels away, bumps continuously unless it finds a place to rest and then it again starts screaming and you don't have any option except to wake up, search for it and stop the alarm. It finds a new place everyday.
Technology is simple, look is funny but it's practicality is great.
